…think again!!! I know what my more patriotic friends would say. that I should encourage people to visit the most beautiful country in the whole wide world (Romania, of course!!!). that we have it all, sea and mountains and friendly hospitable people. yeah, right! this is what we have all learnt in school. and what I believed for a looong time. actually until I started traveling around. true, it it a beautiful promising country. promising, i said. if we would only have some people to actually use the potential. enhance it. but we don’t. and i do not see any knight in shining armour running for the next elections. so…in case you were thinking about visiting romania…think again! it is dirty, with bad roads, with thieves that would steel from your wallet in the middle of the day, in the center of bucharest. with cab drivers that would charge you as for a flight from london to canberra, in case they pick up on your “foreigner” appearance. so…why not chose a friendlier, more relaxing holiday destination?
all right, if you are determined to come over anyway, then go ahead! I’ll even give you some tips to get around, if you should need that. and guess what?! I will do it free of charge. maybe!
